Item Title
C-17 Clarke Jacksonville Auditory/Oral Center Agreement.
Issue/Rationale
This agreement will enable the School District of Clay County to serve Cochlear Implant Hearing Impaired students, a low-incidence ESE population, through the Clarke School.
Clarke School services are monitored by the ESE Director and Designee. The agreement ensures compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
Recommended Action
Approve agreement as submitted.
Financial Impact
The projected cost of implementing this contractual agreement is about $150,000.00. Providing similar services in a Clay County public school would cost as much or more. IDEA and FTE funds are generated by each student.
